GCNC™ is Beond Corrosion’s advanced protection platform developed to address persistent failure modes observed in conventional coating systems. The platform focuses on improving barrier performance and durability in aggressive environments while remaining practical for real-world infrastructure applications.
GCNC is not positioned as a universal replacement for existing coatings. It is intended to provide a higher performance option where conventional systems consistently fall short.
Enhanced Barrier Performance
GCNC is designed to reduce moisture and ion ingress over time by emphasizing barrier integrity and durability. The objective is to slow corrosion propagation rather than respond after degradation has already occurred.
Critical Area Protection
The platform focuses on locations where corrosion most often initiates, including edges, joints, fasteners, and complex geometries. These areas frequently dictate coating life and long-term asset condition.
Practical Application Pathways
GCNC is being developed for both specialized applications and more accessible field deployable solutions. This ensures the platform can be applied selectively based on asset condition, exposure, and operational constraints.
Evaluation and Use
GCNC is evaluated through applied testing in aggressive corrosion environments and through targeted field use cases. Performance is assessed based on durability, barrier integrity, and suitability for specific infrastructure applications.
The platform is applied within Beond Corrosion’s broader inspection, planning, and execution framework to ensure corrosion protection strategies are technically justified and operationally appropriate.
